This Privacy Policy explains what personal data LVLARENA ("we", "us") collects when you use https://lvlarena.games (the "Site"), why we collect it, and what choices you have. LVLARENA is an online game development school operated from Tbilisi, Georgia.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address, name or username, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Learning data: the courses you bought, your progress, completed lessons, assignment answers and certificates.
- Purchase data: what you bought, the price, date and transaction status. Card details are handled by our payment partner; we never receive your full card number.
- Messages: what you send to support and what you post in comments, discussions or course chats.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, language, and log data needed to run and protect the Site. We use cookies that are necessary for sign-in and site settings, such as your chosen language.
2. Why we use your data
- to create and manage your account and give you access to the courses you bought (performance of a contract);
- to process payments and refunds through our payment partner (performance of a contract and legal obligations);
- to send service emails: password resets, purchase confirmations and important changes (performance of a contract);
- to answer support requests (legitimate interest);
- to keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and fix errors (legitimate interest);
- to send news about new courses, only if you agree to it; you can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Site, and only as much as they need:
- Hosting: Contabo GmbH, Germany (servers in the European Union);
- Payments: our payment partner, which acts as the merchant of record and processes payments, taxes and refunds;
- Email delivery: the provider we use to send service emails;
- authorities, when required by law.
4. International transfers
Our servers are in the European Union. If you are outside the EU, your data is transferred to and stored in the EU. Where our providers process data outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep data
We keep account and learning data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except purchase records, which we keep as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually up to 6 years).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA), you can:
- access the data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your account and data;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To use these rights, email support@lvlarena.games from the email address on your account. We reply within 30 days. We do not discriminate against you for using your privacy rights.
7. Children
The Site is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has given us personal data without a parent's consent, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, access controls and regular updates to protect your data. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new date and notify registered users of important changes by email.
